Acceptable Use Policy

Hollerly helps people start real business conversations. This policy sets out what is not allowed, so that outreach through Hollerly stays lawful and respectful. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Hollerly, including team members, Agency clients you act for, and any person, script or AI agent using your API keys or MCP connection. You are responsible for their compliance. Breaking the policy, or helping anyone else break it, is a breach of the Terms.

2. No spam or unlawful bulk messaging

  • Do not send messages or emails that break anti-spam, privacy or marketing laws, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR, CASL or the Australian Spam Act.
  • Do not contact people without a lawful basis, or where consent is required and you do not have it.
  • Do not use purchased, rented, scraped or harvested email lists where the law does not allow it.
  • Do not send untargeted bulk messages. Outreach should be relevant to the recipient’s professional role.
  • Do not use false or misleading sender names, subject lines, headers or reply-to addresses, and do not hide who you are.
  • Include the identification and physical postal address that the law requires in commercial email.
  • Keep bounce and complaint rates low. Stop campaigns that cause high complaint or bounce rates.

3. No harassment, discrimination or deception

  • No harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, obscene or sexually explicit content.
  • No content that discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or other protected traits.
  • No repeated contact with someone who has asked you to stop, or who has blocked or removed you.
  • No impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, company or brand, or imply an endorsement or relationship that does not exist, including with LinkedIn or Hollerly.
  • No deceptive content: fake job offers, false claims of a prior relationship or meeting, fake invoices, false urgency, misleading claims about products or earnings, or fake reviews.
  • No content that infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights, or that defames anyone.

4. No scraping or reselling of data

  • Use lead data only for your own outreach, or your Agency client’s outreach, through Hollerly.
  • Do not use Hollerly to build, sell, rent, license or give away contact databases or lead lists, or to supply data to data brokers or other tools.
  • Do not mass-collect profiles or data beyond what you need for genuine outreach campaigns.
  • Do not resell email finder or verification credits, or results from them.
  • Do not use the Service to track, profile or monitor individuals for non-business purposes.

5. No illegal or high-risk offers

Do not use Hollerly to promote, sell or solicit:

  • illegal goods or services, or anything illegal where the recipient is;
  • drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or stolen data or accounts;
  • gambling, adult content, or debt collection, where unlicensed or unlawful;
  • get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, unregistered securities, or cryptocurrency or investment offers that break financial promotion laws;
  • services that help others evade the law, platform rules or security controls.

6. No circumventing limits and safety caps

  • Do not bypass or try to bypass daily and weekly caps, warm-up periods, working hours, delays, automatic pauses or plan limits.
  • Do not open several accounts, workspaces or trials to get around limits or fees.
  • Do not use other software alongside Hollerly to raise the volume of actions on the same LinkedIn account beyond safe limits.
  • Do not interfere with the proxy assigned to your account, or try to use it for anything other than Hollerly.

7. Only use accounts you are authorized to use

  • Connect only LinkedIn accounts, mailboxes and integrations that you own, or that you have the account owner’s clear, written permission to operate.
  • Agencies must have each client’s authorization before connecting their accounts or sending on their behalf.
  • Do not use fake, purchased, rented, borrowed or compromised LinkedIn or email accounts.
  • Do not share your Hollerly login. Invite team members with their own seats instead.

8. No malware, phishing or attacks

  • No viruses, malware, spyware or harmful files or links.
  • No phishing, credential harvesting, or requests for passwords, payment details or other sensitive data under false pretenses.
  • No link shorteners or redirects used to hide a malicious or misleading destination.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of Hollerly, overload it, or access data or accounts that are not yours. If you find a vulnerability, report it to hello@hollerlyai.com and do not exploit it.

9. No sensitive-category targeting

  • Do not select, segment, score or message people based on their actual or inferred race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data, criminal record, or immigration status.
  • Do not upload or store these special categories of data, government ID numbers, financial account numbers or passwords in Hollerly.
  • Do not target children or anyone under 18.
  • Do not use Hollerly for decisions about employment eligibility, credit, insurance or housing in ways that require consumer reporting or anti-discrimination compliance.

10. Respect opt-outs

  • Keep the unsubscribe link on in email campaigns, and do not remove or hide the List-Unsubscribe header.
  • Honor every opt-out request on every channel, whether it comes through an unsubscribe link, a reply, a LinkedIn message, a phone call or an email to us, and do it promptly. Act within the time the law sets, for example within 10 business days under CAN-SPAM, and sooner where other laws require it.
  • Add people who opt out to your do-not-contact list. Do not remove them from it, re-import them, or contact them from another account or tool.
  • Respond to data subject requests (access, deletion, objection) as the law requires.

11. API, MCP and webhook rules

  • Use only the documented API and MCP server. Do not scrape the dashboard or call undocumented endpoints.
  • Stay within the rate limits we publish or return. Back off when you receive a rate limit response, and do not spread traffic across keys or accounts to get around limits.
  • Keep API keys secret. Do not embed them in public code, browser apps or shared prompts. Rotate a key right away if it may be exposed.
  • AI agents connected through the MCP server must follow this policy. Review what an agent can do before you connect it, and keep human review on messages it sends.
  • Webhook endpoints must be yours, use HTTPS, and handle the data they receive securely.
  • Do not use the API to create a product that competes with Hollerly or to resell access to it.

12. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and, depending on how serious they are, we may:

  • warn you and ask you to fix the problem;
  • pause campaigns, remove content, or lower sending limits;
  • disconnect a LinkedIn account or mailbox, or revoke API keys;
  • suspend or close your account without refund;
  • report illegal activity to the authorities, and cooperate with lawful requests.

We decide what action fits the case and may act without notice where there is a risk of harm. If you think we made a mistake, write to hello@hollerlyai.com. Failing to enforce this policy in one case does not waive our right to enforce it later.

13. Reporting abuse

If you received spam, harassment or a phishing message sent through Hollerly, or you see any other misuse, email abuse@hollerlyai.com. Please include the sender’s name, email address or LinkedIn profile, the date, and a copy or screenshot of the message (for email, the full headers help). We review every report.

To stop messages to you, use the unsubscribe link in the email or see how to opt out in our Privacy Policy.
