LinkedIn needs reconnecting

Your LinkedIn account in Hollerly says it needs reconnecting. Why it happens, how to reconnect with one sign-in, and what happens to your campaigns meanwhile.

Updated October 8, 2026

Sometimes LinkedIn ends a session, for example after you change your password, sign out of all sessions or LinkedIn asks for a new security check. Hollerly then can't act for that account until you sign in again, and the account card in Settings shows that LinkedIn needs reconnecting.

Reconnect

  1. Go to Settings, Channels & safety, section LinkedIn account.
  2. Click Reconnect on the account card.
  3. Sign in on LinkedIn's own screen, and answer any code or app approval LinkedIn asks for there. Hollerly never sees your password.

You come back to Hollerly with the account connected again. Your campaigns, leads, safety limits and warm-up progress stay as they were.

What happens meanwhile

While an account needs reconnecting, nothing is sent from it. Leads wait where they are in their sequence and carry on once you reconnect. Other LinkedIn accounts in your workspace keep running.

Accounts connected the old way

If the account was connected with an email and password or a session cookie, reconnecting moves it to the new connection: one sign-in on LinkedIn's screen, and the warm-up progress is kept. See Connect your LinkedIn account.

Still not connecting?

  • Sign in to linkedin.com yourself first. If LinkedIn shows a warning or says the account is restricted, follow its steps, then reconnect. See Why LinkedIn restricts accounts.
  • Make sure you sign in with the same LinkedIn account that was connected before.
