Email limits, warm-up and signature

How many emails Hollerly sends a day from your mailbox, how new mailboxes warm up, the gaps between emails, and how to add a plain text signature.

Updated October 3, 2026

Daily limit

Set Emails per day on the mailbox card under Settings, Channels & safety. The default is 40 a day and the maximum is 100. If you enter more than 100, Hollerly saves 100 and tells you "Saved (capped at 100/day)".

Keeping volume low is the best protection for your domain's reputation. Cold email from a single mailbox works best at modest daily numbers.

Warm-up for new mailboxes

Hollerly ramps up a newly connected mailbox automatically:

  • Week 1: up to 15 emails a day.
  • Week 2: up to 25 emails a day.
  • After that: your daily limit.

The weeks count from when you connected the mailbox, so reconnecting starts the ramp again. Hollerly doesn't run a warmup network; this is a slower start, not fake traffic.

Gaps and working hours

  • Campaign emails go out 90 to 300 seconds apart, at random.
  • Replies you send from the inbox wait at least 60 seconds after the last email.
  • Email only sends inside your working hours, and, if the campaign option is on, inside the prospect's working hours too. See Safety limits and working hours.

Signature

Add a Signature on the mailbox card and click Save. It's plain text, up to 500 characters, and goes under every email after a blank line.

Two campaign options affect your emails:

  • Unsubscribe link in emails (on by default) adds a one-click opt-out line and the List-Unsubscribe header that mail apps use. People who opt out go to your do-not-contact list. See Do-not-contact list and unsubscribes.
  • Track email opens (off by default) adds a tracking pixel. It's needed for "if opened" conditions, but pixels can hurt deliverability, so leave it off unless you use those conditions.
