Expandi vs Waalaxy: Which LinkedIn Tool Should You Pick?
Expandi vs Waalaxy is a choice between a premium cloud tool and a low-cost starter. Expandi costs $99 a month per seat, or $79 billed yearly, and runs each LinkedIn account in the cloud with a dedicated country-based IP, automatic warm-up and conditional campaigns. Waalaxy starts at €19 a month for 300 LinkedIn invitations, installs as a Chrome extension, and adds cold email sequences on its €69 Business plan.
This guide compares the two on features, price, safety, ease of use, integrations and support, using each vendor's own pages as checked on October 2, 2026. It ends with a third option for people who want AI to write the messages.
Waalaxy is the better pick for solo users on a small budget who mainly need LinkedIn invitations, with email added on its €69 Business plan. Expandi is the better pick for higher-volume LinkedIn outreach, where cloud running, a dedicated IP and conditional campaigns matter more than price. If you want AI-written messages plus email for less than one Expandi seat, Hollerly Pro is $49 a month.
Expandi vs Waalaxy at a glance
| Expandi | Waalaxy | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | LinkedIn-first sales teams and agencies sending at volume | Solo users and small teams starting on a small budget |
| Starting price | $99/seat monthly, $79/seat billed yearly | €19/user monthly (Pro) |
| Free trial | 7 days, full access, no card | 14 days on every plan (card requirement not stated) |
| Cloud or extension | Cloud | Chrome extension |
| Email included | Email follow-ups | Cold email on Business (€69) |
| LinkedIn accounts | Priced per seat; Agency plan from 10 seats | Priced per user |
| Standout feature | Dedicated country-based IP and auto warm-up per account | Low entry price and 99+ ready-made sequences |
Both tools automate the LinkedIn basics: profile visits, invitations and follow-up messages. Expandi spends its higher price on the infrastructure under each account and on campaign logic. Waalaxy keeps the entry price low and lets you add API access, automations and email as you move up its plans.
Waalaxy or Expandi: the short answer
If you are asking Waalaxy or Expandi, two questions settle most cases: how many invitations will you send, and do you need email in the same sequence?
- Under 300 invitations a month, LinkedIn only: Waalaxy Pro at €19 is hard to beat on price.
- LinkedIn plus email on a budget: Waalaxy Business at €69 adds cold email sequences and multichannel campaigns.
- Higher volume with safety controls first: Expandi's dedicated IP, warm-up and daily limit ranges are built for that.
- An agency with 10 or more seats: Expandi's Agency plan adds roles, permissions, white label and a dedicated customer success manager.
The rest of this page explains the reasoning, so you can check it against your own plans before choosing Waalaxy or Expandi.
Why listen to us?
We build Hollerly, a LinkedIn and email outreach tool, so we are not neutral and we say so up front. For this page we read Expandi's and Waalaxy's own pricing, product and integration pages on October 2, 2026, and every price and feature here comes from those pages. Where a vendor did not publish a detail, such as Waalaxy's yearly prices, we say it is not listed rather than guess. We do not quote review scores or user numbers, and we point out where each tool is stronger than ours.

Features compared
Winner: Expandi for LinkedIn campaign depth. Waalaxy wins on built-in email finding.
Expandi's campaign builder is the more capable of the two. Behavior triggers with 19 actions and 11 conditions let a sequence react to what a prospect does, and A/B testing and a smart inbox come with the Business plan. Waalaxy's sequences are ready-made and quick to launch, but its pages do not list A/B testing or conditional branching.
Waalaxy has things Expandi does not list: an email finder with monthly credits on every plan and cold email sequences inside the same tool on Business. Expandi lists email follow-ups but no email finder, so you bring your own addresses.
Neither tool lists built-in AI message writing today. Expandi has an MCP connector for AI assistants in private beta, and Waalaxy labels its AI assistant "soon".
Pricing compared
Winner: Waalaxy. Even its top plan costs less than one Expandi seat.
| Need | Waalaxy | Expandi |
|---|---|---|
| One person, LinkedIn only | €19 (Pro, 300 invitations) | $99, or $79 billed yearly |
| One person, LinkedIn plus API and automations | €49 (Advanced) | $99, or $79 billed yearly |
| One person, LinkedIn plus email | €69 (Business) | $99, or $79 billed yearly |
| Three people with email | €207 before the inbox add-on | $297, or $237 billed yearly |
Two extras change the math. Waalaxy's LinkedIn Inbox is a paid add-on, so budget for it if you plan to handle replies inside the tool. Expandi's image, GIF and video personalization cost extra, which matters only if you use them.
Waalaxy advertises bigger savings on quarterly and yearly billing, but its pricing page did not show the discounted amounts on the day we checked, so we have not calculated them.
Safety and account limits
Winner: Expandi. It describes more account protection than Waalaxy does.
No tool makes LinkedIn automation risk-free. LinkedIn's user agreement does not allow third-party automation, so every tool here carries some risk. What differs is how much each one does to keep activity looking like a normal person.
Expandi
Expandi runs in the cloud and gives each account a dedicated country-based IP, automatic profile warm-up and research-based daily limit ranges. It also offers campaign recovery and duplicate prevention. It does not describe randomized delays on the pages we checked.
Waalaxy
Waalaxy caps invitations by plan, at 300 a month on Pro and 800 on Advanced and Business, and its homepage describes human-like timing that stays within LinkedIn's limits. It does not describe proxies, dedicated IPs or warm-up, and it does not say whether your computer must stay on while the extension works.
For daily numbers that apply to any tool, read our LinkedIn automation safety guide.
Ease of use
Winner: Waalaxy for getting started; Expandi for people who like to fine-tune.
Waalaxy is designed around speed. You pick one of its ready-made sequences, import leads from LinkedIn or a CSV, and the follow-ups run. Plan limits are simple to read: a number of invitations and email finder credits a month.
Expandi asks a little more of you. Its campaign builder has many triggers and conditions, plus prioritization between campaigns, so setup takes longer. The payoff is control: you decide exactly what happens after an accept, a reply or no response.
Integrations and support
Winner: Expandi on integrations. Support is close.
Expandi lists native HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive connections, Smartlead for combining LinkedIn and cold email in one sequence, Hyperise and Sendspark for personalization, plus Zapier, webhooks and an API. Waalaxy syncs with HubSpot and Pipedrive on every plan, but its API and its Make, Zapier and n8n modules start on the €49 Advanced plan.
On support, Waalaxy lists priority support on Business, and Expandi's Agency plan includes a dedicated customer success manager. Neither page describes support hours or response times for lower plans.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Waalaxy if you are starting out, work alone or in a small team, and want LinkedIn outreach for a low monthly fee. Move to Business when you need email in the same flow, and to Advanced if you want an API or Make, Zapier and n8n.
Choose Expandi if LinkedIn is your main channel, you send at volume, and you will pay more for cloud running, a dedicated IP and conditional campaigns. Agencies with 10 or more seats should ask Expandi about the Agency plan.
If neither fits, our Waalaxy alternative and Expandi alternative pages list other options.
A third option: Hollerly
Hollerly sits between the two on price and adds AI to the part both tools leave to you: writing the messages. It runs your LinkedIn account from a dedicated cloud browser with its own IP in your country, like Expandi, so there is no extension and your laptop can be closed. Claude writes each note, message and email from the prospect's profile, latest post and company website, and you approve the first five before the campaign runs.
When Hollerly is the better pick
- You want personalized messages without writing each one: Starter is $19 a month with AI-written messages and 300 connection requests.
- You want LinkedIn plus email for less than Expandi: Pro is $49 and sends from your own Gmail, Outlook or SMTP mailbox.
- You want replies sorted for you: Pro tags each reply by intent and drafts an answer in one inbox.
When it isn't
- You need a B2B contact database, an email warmup network, calls, SMS or WhatsApp. Hollerly has none of these.
- You run 10 or more seats. Hollerly Agency covers 3 LinkedIn accounts and 3 seats.
- You rely on a long list of integrations. Hollerly is newer and connects to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zapier, Make, Slack and webhooks.
Every plan and limit is on the pricing page.
